3 men charged in alleged alcohol-fueled sexual assault of 2 juveniles
An 18-year-old Tyrone man is facing charges after police say he sexually assaulted two teenage girls at a party Friday night.
Joseph Benjamin Williams was charged with indecent sexual assault, corruption of minors and underage drinking,
Two other Tyrone men, Nathan Sechrist, 21, and Scott Hample, 22, were charged with furnishing alcohol to minors, police say.
Police responded to Sechrist’s residence on Grazierville Road in Snyder Township after being notified of an underage party. Once there, police confirmed that Sechrist, 21, supplied alcohol for the party.
Officers were then directed to the Tyrone Hospital, where a 13-year-old girl was admitted after becoming intoxicated at the party. After police investigation, it was discovered that the girls and her 12-year-old friend were driven to the party by Williams, according to a release from the state police at Hollidaysburg.
After their arrival, Williams and both girls allegedly became intoxicated. Multiple witnesses observed Williams engaging in indecent sexual misconduct with both teens inside Sechrist’s residence. Williams was later observed engaging in sexual acts with the 13-year-old in his vehicle outside the residence, according to the release.
The investigation also determined that Hample had supplied alcohol to minors at the party.
