Man allegedly exposed himself, defecated on the floor of a State College business
A State College man was taken into custody after allegedly exposing himself at a downtown business.
According to the criminal complaint filed by State College police, an officer responded at about 9:20 p.m. Monday to the Dunkin Donuts along West College Avenue for a report of a man masturbating in the restaurant. On arrival, the officer reportedly observed a man matching the description given with his pants around his ankles and was “fully exposed.”
The man, who was identified as Bruce A. Silcox, 65, was also defecating on the floor, police said. Witnesses told police he had been looking at them while exposed, police said.
Silcox was arraigned Tuesday by District Judge Thomas Jordan, according to court documents, and charged with misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and open lewdness, and a summary charge of harassment. Straight monetary bail was set at $15,000 and he was taken to the Centre County Correctional Facility.
A preliminary hearing is slated for Jan. 31.
