Former State College Taco Bell manager charged with harassment after groping employee, police say
A former Taco Bell manager was charged Tuesday by State College police after a female employee reported he forced an unwanted kiss and groped her.
She and Billy Brock, 33, of Mifflin County, were disposing of garbage Sunday at 397 Benner Pike when he cornered and kissed her, police wrote in an affidavit of probable cause.
She went inside the restaurant, gathered her belongings and was prepared to leave when Brock inappropriately touched her, police wrote. The employee then smacked him in the face, police wrote.
An officer reviewed video of the incident, which corroborated her report. Brock later admitted during an interview to kissing and inappropriately touching her, police wrote.
A defense lawyer for Brock was not listed on a court document.
Brock was fired and the company’s franchise owner is cooperating with the investigation, a Taco Bell spokesperson said Wednesday in an emailed statement.
Brock was charged with one misdemeanor count of indecent assault and one summary count of harassment. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 26.
