The State College Police Department is investigating a trespass by motor vehicle that caused damage to a ball field in a local park.

Sometime between Jan. 28 and Jan. 30, an unknown person trespassed into Spring Creek Park in College Township and drove a vehicle onto the playing field, which caused “substantial turf damage,” according to a press release from the department.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the department at 814-234-7150 or police@statecollegepa.us, or by submitting an anonymous tip on its website, www.statecollegepa.us/anonymoustip.
