Three people are facing charges after a fight Sunday near a convenience store in Philipsburg that state police at Rockview said involved a knife, a bat, drugs and stolen money.

Troopers were dispatched about 11:25 a.m. Sunday to the Nittany MinitMart, 325 N. Front St., after multiple people reported the fight, police wrote in an affidavit of probable cause.

A man told police he and his wife invited Kaleb J. Lamb, 30, of Beaver County, and Brittany M. Davis, 31, of Clearfield County, to their Philipsburg home. After Lamb and Davis left, the man told troopers $500 was missing and that he confronted them at the convenience store.

Lamb brandished a knife, but was taken to the ground while Davis fought with another woman, police wrote. Nicholas K. Rumsey, 34, of Clearfield County, was accused of holding a wooden bat and threatened to use it before troopers arrived.

Police said Lamb had methamphetamine and cocaine in his shorts, as well as $501 in his wallet. They also said they found a large amount of meth and fentanyl inside the pickup truck Rumsey was driving. Meth and a folding knife was found in Davis’ bag, police wrote.

Lamb was charged with a felony count of aggravated assault, misdemeanor counts of simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft, as well as a citation for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned by District Judge Don Hahn, who set bail at $47,500.

Davis was charged with misdemeanor counts of simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia and summary citations for harassment and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Hahn set her bail at 10% of $12,500.

She and Lamb are incarcerated at the Centre County Correctional Facility. Each has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 11.

An arrest warrant for Rumsey includes felony charges of possession with intent to deliver and prohibited possession of a firearm. He’s also facing misdemeanor counts of simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and an instrument of a crime.

No defense lawyers were listed for either Lamb, Davis or Rumsey.
