State College man sentenced on felony drug charges
A State College man was sentenced Tuesday on several counts of felony drug charges and possession of illegal firearms.
Rashime Lowe Sibert-Bey, 39, pleaded guilty before Centre County President Judge Thomas King Kistler to four counts of manufacture, delivery or possession, with intent to manufacture or deliver and three counts of possession of a prohibited firearm.
In February, State College police became aware Sibert-Bey was selling heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine from his basement in the State College area.
According to court documents, police furnished a search warrant in April and entered Sibert-Bey’s home. Court documents indicate police found a full-blown drug operation inside with “multiple illegal firearms,” including a “.40 caliber handgun, a .40 caliber magazine and a .25 caliber handgun.” Police also found “multiple items of drug paraphernalia with a variety of drugs.”
Kistler sentenced Sibert-Bey to serve four to nine years in state prison.
