Man charged with assault waives hearing
A man charged with assault waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday.
State police at Rockview responded to a call regarding a physical fight between two males in Snow Shoe on Dec. 3.
The victim told police he and Camdin Crouse, 27, got into a verbal argument that escalated quickly.
Court documents indicate Crouse allegedly punched the victim in the face, “with a closed fist.”
After the fight, Crouse allegedly left the scene and went to a friend’s house.
Court documents indicate police spoke to the friend who told them that Crouse followed the victim to his house. While the victim and friend were attempting to call police, Crouse allegedly came into the kitchen, and said, “where are the knives, I’m going to kill him.”
Crouse is being charged with a misdemeanor count of terroristic threats, a misdemeanor count of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
