Man uses debit card that did not belong to him to purchase cigarettes

State police at Philipsburg are investigating an incident that took place at a Sheetz store on North Atherton Street.

Police say a man used a debit card that did not belong to him on Dec. 10 to purchase several cartons of cigarettes. This was done without the permission of the cardholder.

The investigation will continue.
