State College police investigating alleged burglary

State College police are investigating an alleged burglary within the borough.

According to police, an unknown individual gained entry into a South Fraser Street residence by breaking the glass in a door. An undisclosed amount of jewelry was taken.

The theft was reported Saturday morning, but the homeowners had been away from the residence for the holiday, police said.
