Bellefonte man arrested in connection with burglary
Police have arrested and arraigned another suspect believed to have been involved in a burglary reported earlier this week.
Jason A. Moyer, 37, Bellefonte, was preliminarily arraigned Thursday before District Judge Kelley Gillette-Walker.
Moyer allegedly stole $550 from his employer, Jack Houser Amusement on Cherry Lane, on Sunday.
According to surveillance footage provided to police by Houser Amusement, Moyer is seen carrying a tan money bag from the business, through the front door.
Police believe that Jacob P. Snook is a co-conspirator in the theft at Houser Amusement due to information he provided to police regarding a separate theft.
Moyer is charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, along with numerous misdemeanor and summary charges.
He is being held at the county jail on $75,000 bail until his preliminary hearing, which is scheduled for Wednesday.
