Man facing charges after incident in strip club parking lot

State police at Philipsburg arrested a Clearfield County man late Saturday after following up on a reported theft.

Police responded to The End Zone Show/Sport Club at about 10 p.m. Saturday for a reported theft from a motor vehicle and public intoxication. Police said they found Kirk Bloom, 27, under the influence.

Bloom had also urinated in the parking lot of the club, police said.

Bloom was accused of taking $1,000 in merchandise from a vehicle parked in the lot, police said, before abandoning the merchandise in the lot.

He was found to be in possession of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, police said. During processing, he spit on a state trooper.

Bloom was scheduled to be arraigned before District Judge Kelley Gillette-Walker on Sunday, according to court documents.
