Man accused of firing weapon near others

A man allegedly fired three shots into the air near three other people Saturday in Walker Township.

State police at Rockview said Anthony K. Bruno, 28, of Mingoville, was on Zellers Lane when he fired the shots and began shouting obscenities. Police said he was combative and resisted arrest.

Bruno was “highly intoxicated,” according to police, and was charged with recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

The incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday near 120 Zellers Lane.
