Police arrested a man they say robbed the Minit Mart on North Atherton Street on Monday night.

Allen Stoltzfus, 26, of Mill Hall, was charged with felony robbery and theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property misdemeanors. He was arraigned Wednesday by District Judge Thomas Jordan and transported to the Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 monetary bail.

State College police responded to the Minit Mart located at 106 N. Atherton St. for a report of a robbery Monday. A clerk at the Minit Mart told police that a white man entered the store and “demanded money while concealing one of his hands inside his jacket.” The clerk believed the suspect was holding a concealed weapon, according to police.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Minit Mart did not return requests for comment Monday.

Court documents did not reveal who will represent Stoltzfus at his March 16 preliminary hearing.
