A fight erupted inside a downtown State College bar on Sunday, leaving one man bloodied in the back of an ambulance and landing another in county jail.
State College police were called to the Lion’s Den early Sunday morning to respond to a report of a fight.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, bar staff were able to restrain Lynorris Antoine Wilson, 34, of Altoona, before officers arrived. The affidavit said Wilson had ordered a bottle of beer, which he later smashed across a man’s face.
The bottle caused a large arc-shaped laceration on the man’s face, according to the affidavit, and a small cut to his forehead. The man was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Medical staff at the scene said the man would need numerous stitches.

According to the affidavit, the fight started after Wilson allegedly pushed his way through the crowded bar and ran into a woman. The man who ultimately was injured allegedly told Wilson to stop pushing people, after which Wilson ordered the bottle of beer.
Wilson is being held at the Centre County prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. He’s charged with aggravated assault, a felony, simple assault and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Bar staff say high-definition cameras captured the entire incident and that footage has been shared with police.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 30 before District Judge Kelley Gillette-Walker.
