Woman reports sexual assault at Penn State frat

University Park police are seeking more information on a sexual assault that allegedly occurred Friday at an unknown off-campus fraternity house.

A female Penn State student reported Tuesday that a college-aged man sexually assaulted her at the house. The victim reportedly knew her assailant, according to a Penn State press release issued Wednesday. The timeframe in which the assault occurred is unknown to officials, the report said.

Sexual assault is a second-degree felony in Pennsylvania, carrying a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
