Police: Inmate planned to use weapon on staff member

State police at Rockview found an inmate in possession of a “homemade” weapon on Friday.

Police say a toothbrush with a razor blade melted into the end of it was discovered between 10:25 and 10:35 p.m.

An initial investigation found that the inmate had planed to use the weapon on a specific staff member.

The inmate is described as a 30-year-old male.

The investigation is ongoing.
