Man charged with assaulting, imprisoning girlfriend waives hearing

A State College man charged with dragging his girlfriend to his car and refusing to let her leave his home waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Hao Zhang, 21, was charged with simple assault and false imprisonment, both misdemeanors, and a summary count of harassment after an incident Friday.

Zhang was arraigned Friday by District Judge Allen Sinclair.
