State police at Philipsburg say a woman suffered major injuries in a crash late Monday in Rush Township.
The woman’s name has not been released, however police confirmed she is 58 and from the Philipsburg area. Police will not comment further on the extent of her injuries. They said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the single-vehicle crash.
According to a press release, the crash occurred shortly before midnight while the driver was traveling west on U.S. Route 322. Police say the driver “exited the north berm for unknown reasons.” The driver then struck two signs, her vehicle rolled over twice and landed on its roof, according to police.
The vehicle, a 2004 black Porsche Boxster convertible, was also severely damaged.
