Penn State student reports sexual assault to university police

Penn State police released information Monday about a sexual assault that reportedly occurred between Oct. 15 and Oct. 31.

The incident was reported to police Monday. A female student said someone sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious in a Pollock Halls dormitory.

She was unable to give a description of the person who sexually assaulted her to police.

Police advised students to keep doors and windows locked, report all suspicious people and activities to police, tell someone their destination and planned time of return, and not to allow strangers into residence halls.
