Man arrested for DUI after single-vehicle crash

A man was arrested for DUI after a single-vehicle crash on April 20.

Luke D. Pryde, 21, was driving a Ford Taurus on Black Moshannon Road at 10:22 p.m. when the incident occurred.

Pryde drove the vehicle off the left side of the road, striking an embankment, according to a report from state police at Philipsburg.

The vehicle then traveled back across the roadway and struck a tree, police said.

Pryde fled the scene, police said, and was found near his residence.

He reported no injuries and was arrested for DUI, police said.
