An altercation between a boyfriend and girlfriend led to the stabbing of a man who tried to intervene, according to state police at Hollidaysburg.
Justin Eugene Walk, 27, of Tyrone, was charged with two felonies, including attempted homicide, two misdemeanors and two summary offenses. The incident occurred at about 6:10 p.m. Thursday at 14728 S. Eagle Valley Road in Snyder Township.
Walk and his girlfriend got into a physical altercation in a vehicle and he pushed and struck her, according to police. A man attempted to pull Walk from the vehicle, but Walk pulled out a pocket knife and began to stab the man’s legs. The man was taken to the hospital where his injuries required staples.
Walk was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of harassment.

Blair County District Judge Paula Aigner set Walk’s bail at $100,000 monetary.
