Man pleads guilty to 2 counts of simple assault

A Florida man pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault Tuesday and was sentenced to serve four years’ probation by President Judge Thomas King Kistler.

Taylor House, 22, is also required to complete Project Point of Light sex offender counseling.

The charges stem from a 2014 incident in which a witness found House in a fraternity house bedroom with a “semi-conscious” woman on his lap undressed, according to a press release issued by Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller.

Fraternity brothers ordered him to leave the house and reported the incident to their adviser and police.
