Police seek man in State College hit-and-run
State College police are seeking a man thought to be involved in a hit-and-run Thursday along South Allen Street.
According to police, William Edwards, 20, and Alexander Woskob, 19, both of State College, were headed north along South Allen when a vehicle described as a “black Cadillac sedan” allegedly pulled out of a parking space in front of the cyclists, causing them to crash and fall. The driver of the sedan left the scene without providing information.
Edwards suffered a wrist injury and sought medical attention, police said. Woskob was uninjured, but his bicycle was damaged.
The driver of the sedan was described by police as a white, college-aged man with short brown hair. The sedan is possibly registered in New Jersey.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the State College police at 234-7150.
