Tyrone man’s crash in Worth Twp. leads to DUI arrest

A one-vehicle crash in Worth Township on Friday night lead to the arrest of a Tyrone man.

According to a report from state police at Philipsburg, Eric Neff, 21, of Tyrone, was charged with driving under the influence.

The report said Neff was traveling west on U.S. Route 322 in a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon at a “high rate of speed” when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the guide rail.

He then reportedly traveled back onto the road while spinning in a clockwise direction, and hit the guide rail again before coming to a stop.

During investigation, police found Neff to be under the influence of alcohol and placed him in the Centre County jail, Trooper Terry Bush said.

No injuries were reported.
