It’s back to school in Centre County as students begin to return to the classroom
Wingate Elementary Principal James Orichosky waved and excitedly greeted students on Tuesday morning as they jumped off the buses with their masks on ready for the first day of the 2020-21 school year. Orichosky, who is the director of elementary education for Bald Eagle Area School District, said he and the staff are ready to get kids back into the classrooms and learning.
“This week we’re going to have fun and reconnect with the kids,” he said.
Each student and faculty member had their temperature checked before entering the building.
