Results: Bellefonte Area sweeps in best cheer squad poll
With the fall semester starting next week for some Centre County students, we asked CentreDaily.com readers which local school district had the best cheer fans.
Bellefonte Area School District swept the poll with 70% of the vote, or 2,168 votes. The Bellefonte cheer squad is back-to-back District 6 champions, winning in 2021 and 2022.
Bald Eagle Area came in second with 15%, or 471 votes, followed by Philipbsurg-Osceola School district with 11%. More than 3,000 votes were casts in the nonscientific poll which was open from Aug. 11-14.
