State College Friends School students prepare Thanksgiving feast
Students at State College Friends School were rolling in the dough Tuesday.
Chef Charles Niedermyer helped make bread and baked goods in preparation for a Thanksgiving feast.
The meal included scones with student-made butter, stone soup and apple crisp, made with fruit from Friends School students’ trees, director of advancement Lori Pacchioli said.
Niedermyer is an instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology, and the father of students Savannah and Dominic. His son, Ansel, served as the sous-chef during the event.
