The meeting agenda said the term would begin no later than July 1 and last through June 30, 2020.
The annual salary from the beginning of her employment through the end of the 2016-17 school year is set at $146,000, pending the finalization of the agreement, according to the document.
It did not say, however, if the position was approved by the board.
Potteiger has been the Bellefonte Area School District superintendent since 2011.
But at a Bellefonte Area board meeting in January, the board, in a 6-2 vote, opted not to renew her contract.
The only board members who voted not to terminate Potteiger were Hope Boylston and Bob Lumley-Sapanski.
In August, the board unanimously approved a $143,475.32 salary for Potteiger for 2015-16 — a 2 percent increase from last school year.
Potteiger was formerly an assistant superintendent of the Hamburg Area School District in Berks County.
Bellefonte Area assistant to the superintendent Michelle Simpson said, “there is planned action” that would be taken Tuesday night at the district’s next school board meeting.
She added that she would recommend anyone with questions to leave a message with Assistant Superintendent Michelle Saylor.
Saylor said in an interview with the CDT on Wednesday afternoon that she sent an email to district faculty and staff that said Potteiger “has begun the process of removing personal items” from her office.
She had no other comment.
An attempt was made to contact Potteiger, but her cellphone number was disconnected.
The CDT is waiting on contact back from other Bellefonte Area administrators, and district administration from Annville-Cleona.
