Are you ready to get peppy?

If you’re a Nittany Lion fan with a plan to attend the 47th Playstation Fiesta Bowl, Penn State has a party for you.

The Official Penn State Pep Rally will be held Dec. 29 at Scottsdale Stadium.

The university announced the particulars of the event Monday.

Keeping up the Nittany Lions’ popular “white out” theme, fans are being “encouraged to wear white” for both the rally and the game.

The free rally is sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association. Doors open at 2 p.m. MST (that’s 4 p.m. if you don’t intend to change the time on your watch) and the program starts at 3 p.m. MST. The event will include the Blue Band, the cheerleaders, Lionettes, the Nittany Lion and “a number of special guests.”

If you aren’t going all the way to Arizona, you can still follow the fun on social media. According to the university, the official hashtag is #PSUPepRally. More information will be made available on alumni.psu.edu and the Facebook event page.

While Penn State and the Washington Huskies will be opponents on the field, they are teaming up for a good cause ahead of time as they join the St. Mary’s Alliance Food Bank in Phoenix to organize and pack food.

The game itself kicks off at 4 p.m. Dec. 30.
