Nittany Lions fans have an opportunity weigh in on the future of Beaver Stadium.

Penn State Athletics on Monday announced the launch of a survey about potential development options for the stadium. Those who are selected to participate were to receive an email with more details.

The survey is the latest phase of the stadium concept study that was announced in May 2021.

“All options are being considered to provide Penn State and Nittany Nation with a world class, long-term stadium solution,” the athletics department said in a news release. “Fan input and feedback will be essential in evaluating all potential options.”

The university has partnered with Populous, a global architecture and design firm, and CAA ICON, a division of entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency.

This is all part of the facilities master plan the university unveiled in 2017.

Populous has been working “with a wide range of stakeholders from the campus and community,” Penn State Athletics said, and expects to offer ways to address the stadium’s maintenance needs, “operational efficiencies, partnership opportunities as well as improvements to the fan and student-athlete experience.”

CAA ICON previously worked with Penn State on construction of the Pegula Ice Arena.
