Topgolf is coming to Penn State’s Beaver Stadium in June. Here’s what to know
Beaver Stadium will be put to use for more than football this year — at least for a few days. Topgolf will be in the stadium from June 2-5 as part of the Topgolf Live Stadium Tour, Penn State announced Wednesday morning.
Topgolf is a golf game that will feature targets on the field at Beaver Stadium, ranging from 60-140 yards away from the tee box. Balls hit by players are tracked with toptracer and immediately scored as part of the game. Food and drinks will be available during the experience in Beaver Stadium’s Mount Nittany Club.
The opportunity to play during the time frame will require a reservation, with tickets going on sale to the public on April 7 at www.gopsusports.com/topgolflive. Pre-sale tickets will be available on April 5 to select groups.
Each bay fits six participants, and participants will be paired with other golfers if they do not reserve all six tickets.
Tickets will reserve a one-hour time frame to play and will cost $40 during Penn State student hours (Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday and Sunday, 8:40 a.m. to 9:40 a.m.), $80 for non-peak hours (Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 4:40 p.m), $90 for peak hours (Thursday, 4:50 to 10:30 p.m.; Friday, 4:50 to 11:40 p.m.; Saturday, 9:50 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. and 8:20 to 11:40 p.m.; Sunday, 9:50 a.m. to 8:10 p.m.) and $10 for spectator tickets.
There will also be an Unrivaled Experience Package that costs $185.
The package includes a stadium tour, a complimentary Penn State White Course greens fee, two drink tickets, a limited-edition Topgolf Live hat, a complimentary Topgolf lifetime membership and a game play $10 voucher.
