Donald Trump is headed to State College for a rally in Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center
Former President Donald Trump will make a stop in Centre County this weekend ahead of the Nov. 5 election.
Trump will hold a rally at the Bryce Jordan Center, 720 Curtin Road, State College, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, his campaigned announced Tuesday evening, just hours after his “Team Trump Bus Tour” stop in State College wrapped up.
Doors to the Penn State venue will open at noon, the release states. General admission tickets are available online through his campaign site.
In the release, the campaign states Pennsylvanians have suffered under the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration due to rising costs on things like groceries and rent.
“Only a Trump-Vance administration will put Pennsylvanians first, ensuring everyone from young families to retirees can save more. Trump’s commonsense agenda is exactly why Pennsylvania voters will flip Pennsylvania red this November,” the release states.
With two weeks left until the Presidential Election on Nov. 5, both Trump’s and Harris’ campaigns have been focusing on battleground states like Pennsylvania, but Trump is the first of the candidates to announce a stop in Centre County.
The past week has been busy for political activity in State College. Last Thursday, former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke on Penn State’s campus and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke to students at The State Theatre on Friday as part of a Students for Harris event. And on Sunday, five swing state governors, including Pennsylvania’s Josh Shapiro, stopped in State College as part of the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign’s “Driving Forward Blue Wall Bus Tour.”
The deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania in the 2024 presidential election has passed. Election Day is Nov. 5.
