Will you be impacted by a closure of a Penn State campus? We want to hear from you

Seven of Penn State’s commonwealth campuses are recommended to be closed, according to a 143-page report prepared by administrators and publicly released this week, which would impact students and university employees, along with the community the campus is in.

While President Neeli Bendapudi and other top officials have said no decision is final until the board of trustees vote on the matter, the campuses listed in the report are DuBois, Fayette, Mont Alto, New Kensington, Shenango, Wilkes-Barre and York.

From workforce and economic impacts to access to affordable higher education, closing any campuses could have a large effect across Pennsylvania. That’s why we want to hear from you about your experiences, concerns and opinions.

Should you fill out the form below and provide your contact information, you can expect a Centre Daily Times reporter to contact you. That does not mean your name is guaranteed to appear in an article.

Maybe you have a tip or story suggestion but don’t want to identify yourself. That’s OK, your information could still be helpful in pursuing future articles. Or maybe you’d like to share how a campus closure could affect your family, or what the community and local economy stands to lose if a campus closed.

Either way, the CDT will not share your name or details without your consent. Prior to any conversation, we can discuss the conditions under which you feel comfortable speaking. We want to hear from you.
