Jerry Sandusky Scandal

Man alleging sex trade ties to Sandusky to appear on 'Dr. Phil' show

A man who has said he met Jerry Sandusky as a child in the 1970s through a Philadelphia pedophile will appear on the “Dr. Phil” show today.

Greg Bucceroni has said he was brought to central Pennsylvania by Philadelphia-area businessman and accused child molester Ed Savitz to sign up for The Second Mile charity and for child prostitution. Bucceroni, 48, has said he came to close to being abused by Sandusky.

A trailer for the “Dr. Phil” episode said that Bucceroni links Sandusky to a multistate child prostitution ring in which naked pictures of him and other boys were traded around like “baseball cards.” The trailer is online at YouTube. The trailer also said

Bucceroni was offered $200 to have sex with Sandusky.

Savitz died while awaiting trial in 1993.

Bucceroni declined to comment about what he will discuss on the show because he signed a non-disclosure agreement.

Sandusky was convicted in June of 45 counts of child abuse and will be sentenced on Oct. 9. Given the number of counts, he’s likely to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

The show airs at 3 p.m. on WJAC.
