Jerry Sandusky Scandal

Hearing scheduled on Sandusky appeal

A hearing has been scheduled in Jerry Sandusky’s latest appeal.

McKean County Senior Judge John M. Cleland, who presided over Sandusky’s trial, ordered a hearing scheduled on whether Sandusky’s attempt for relief under the Post Conviction Relief Act should proceed for Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. in Courtroom One at Centre County Courthouse.

Sandusky was convicted on 45 child-sex related charges in June 2012 and sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison. He is serving that sentence at Greene state prison.
