Borough Council decides not to spend
Somehow, State College Borough came down on the side of not spending money twice last night.
Is this a record?
First, council decided not to pay itself. Good move. Submit expenses just like everyone else.
The big decision came when council turned thumbs down to Peter Morris' idea to spend $8,000 on firearms signs for parks and buildings.
Just what we need, signs to say someone might be armed. Amazing, and to its credit council looked away.
They should earn a bravo from taxpayers.
