Yesterday, we published a nice front page feature on the new Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania museum opening for the arts festival.
The print piece did not include an address or basic information, because an accompanying breakout was unintentionally omitted.
We received a number of calls asking for that information. I personally took three calls and gave it out, and we posted it with the story online. The readers we spoke to were looking forward to visiting the museum and praising it, as well as praising the coverage.
The chatter was much different online with yesterday's story and with previous stories about the museum. Many of the anonymous posters are critical of both the museum and the local funding of it. Some think it's ridiculous.
Print and online, two very different worlds indeed, And it's shown vividly through the Discovery Space stories.
