Another false alarm Gricar sighting

Those of us who've been around for six years of off and on Ray Gricar sightings didn't flinch when the mystery inmate in Utah who wouldn't give his name appeared to be Ray, after all this time.

Different height, different eye color. Those are clues that it couldn't be Gricar.

Yet the web went crazy and some blew this stunning possibility out of proportion, perhaps because of the timing of Gricar being declared dead or the reality of a slow day in late July.

Wouldn't it be cool if he were in Utah, confounding everyone?

Fortunately this mystery story ended after a few hours. Until the next Gricar sighting we wait.
