Republicans gain at Grange Fair

Maybe it was because two of the state GOP heavyweights -- Gov. Tom Corbett and former Sen. Rick Santorum -- stopped at the Grange Fair this year.

Or maybe it was just more of the same, since Republicans usually sign up more voters than Denocrats every year at the fair.

The final tally in the annual voter registration contest: 26 new GOP voters emerged, to 11 new Democratic voters. 

So goes the Grange voter challenge for 2011. Congrats to the Republicans and to the new voters.
