Keystone Kids to get Beaver Stadium salute
The Keystone Little Leaguers will be on the field at Beaver Stadium during a break in the action Saturday for well deserved applause.
The tribute is expected to be in the second quarter during a timeout.
The kids have been saluted in various venues, including the state Capitol, but I'm sure being on the Beaver Stadium turf during a game will be way cool.
It also will be cool for the fans who attend, promising a highlight on what otherwise could be a dull and dreary afternoon.
Many are wondering what the turnout will be for Eastern Michigan. I'd say anything north of 80,000 will be a bonus for a game that has not drawn much interest in or out of Happy Valley.
