Support this football team

Joe Paterno won 409 games, many big ones.

He won't be able to go for No. 410, a huge one. The Nittany Lions, on an emotional roller coaster like no other, host Nebraska Saturday.

Paterno was fired. An incredible end to an incredible career, but it was the right ending. Penn State trustees have to clean house of anyone with any connection to this scandal.

Tom Bradley is finally getting his chance as coach, and he'll lead an overachieving 8-1 team into its toughest battle.

This is the emotional week of all weeks, and Penn State players will need support in a big way.

They deserve it. Bradley deserves it.

It will be time to think about football on Saturday, after a week like none other.

Support them. I will. More than ever.
