$200,000 in stolen Lululemon leggings found in boxes at apartment, California cops say

A search of a Southern California apartment turned up nearly 1,900 pairs of stolen Lululemon leggings worth more than $200,000, officers reported.

California Highway Patrol’s organized retail theft task force intercepted a shipment of stolen Lululemon products addressed to a La Habra apartment, a news release said.

Officers delivered the boxes to the apartment, where they spotted numerous similar boxes, the release said.

Returning with a search warrant, officers found 16 boxes packed full of 1,861 pairs of stolen leggings valued at $203,000, the release said.

The products had been stolen from Lululemon stores across the United States, including stores in Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin, investigators said.

The residents of the apartment told officers they didn’t know what was in the boxes.

Lululemon told authorities it is the largest recovery of stolen products in the company’s history.
