A driver in Texas sought help when she heard her engine purring — literally.

A woman asked firefighters in Abilene for assistance on June 1, telling them it sounded like a cat was in her SUV’s undercarriage, according to a Facebook post from firefighters.

A group of firefighters began searching beneath the Chevy Tahoe.

After around 20 minutes of looking, they found and dislodged a kitten.

Abilene is about 150 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
