Which Trump policies are most popular? New poll finds two have bipartisan support
President-elect Donald Trump has put forward numerous policy proposals that could dramatically reshape the American economy, immigration system and foreign affairs.
But, just how popular are they?
The latest Harvard CAPS / Harris Poll sought to answer this question by asking respondents for their opinions on a dozen policies they say Trump has endorsed.
Ten of the twelve — including deporting people living in the country illegally and ending the Ukraine-Russia war — received strong or partial support from a majority of respondents.
However, there were strong partisan divides. Republicans and independents overwhelmingly supported every policy but one: implementing a strategic Bitcoin reserve.
Meanwhile, a majority of Democrats only favored two policies: deporting people living in the country illegally with criminal records and ending the Israel-Hamas war by demanding Hamas’ surrender.
The poll, conducted between Nov. 13 and 14, sampled 1,732 registered voters and has a margin of error of 2.3 percentage points.
