Player hits $47 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot in California. Where was lucky ticket sold?

A SuperLotto Plus ticket sold in the Los Angeles area hit the $47 million jackpot, California Lottery officials say.

The ticket matched the winning numbers of 11, 19, 24, 38 and 41 plus the Mega Number 26 in the drawing Wednesday, Dec. 11, the lottery said in a news release.

The winning ticket was sold at Fresh Catch Seafood Market in Artesia, which is about a 20-mile drive southeast from downtown Los Angeles.

A second ticket sold at a 7-Eleven in Ontario, about a 35-mile drive east from Los Angeles, won $39,175 with five winning numbers, the lottery said.

The jackpot winner has 180 days to claim their prize.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was last hit in July.

What to know about SuperLotto Plus

To score the jackpot in the SuperLotto Plus, a player must match all five numbers and the Mega Number. The odds of scoring a jackpot prize are 1 in 41,416,353.

Tickets cost $1 and can be bought on the day of the drawing until 7:45 p.m.

Drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays.
