Trump proud of his children, but one to a ‘lesser extent’

Donald Trump joined Fox and Friends for an Election Day call-in and lauded his children for their efforts during the campaign.

He also took what may have been an unintended dig at one of them.

“I’m very proud of my children. I mean, I’m just looking at them right now, as an example for your show. But I’m very proud. Because Don and Eric and Ivanka and, you know, to a lesser extent because she just got out of school, out of college, but, uh, Tiffany.”

Tiffany Trump, who graduated at the University of Pennsylvania in May, has not played as large a role in the campaign compared to her older siblings. Her most notable contribution was a speech at the Republican National Convention.

Trump’s youngest daughter, however, did stump for him with Ivanka Trump. Their final campaign appearances were spent urging women to support their father.

Donald Trump trailed Hillary Clinton in most November national polls entering Election Day. Investor’s Business Daily and the Los Angeles Times had Trump ahead.
