Pennsylvania resident makes US history, wins more than $1.6M from online lottery game
A Centre County resident won more than $1.6 million from an online lottery game, the Pennsylvania Lottery said Friday. It’s the largest prize of its kind in U.S. history.
The player won the record-setting amount of money from PA Big Winner Spectacular, which the lottery described as a connect-style internet instant game with one progressive jackpot.
Pennsylvania is one of 14 states to sell lottery products online.
