Lottery sold 4 tickets worth $1M during New Year’s raffle. 2 were sold in central PA
Two of the four million-dollar tickets in Saturday’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle drawing were sold in central Pennsylvania, the state lottery said Monday.
Saturday’s drawing awarded four top prizes of $1 million. One winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at routes 35 and 104 in Mount Pleasant Mills in Snyder County. A second $1 million winner was purchased at First Stop Shop, 1815 Union Ave. in Altoona. The others were sold in Erie and Montgomery counties.
All four were unclaimed as of Monday afternoon.
The stores will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.
The $1 million winning ticket numbers were 00008747, 00105980, 00406697 and 00443296. Pennsylvania Lottery did not specify which store sold which ticket.
The Jan. 7 drawing also had four $100,000 winning tickets, two of which were sold in the central Pennsylvania area. The winners were purchased at Sheetz, 14259 Clearfield Shawville Highway in Clearfield; at Giant Eagle, 1451 Scalp Ave. in Johnstown; in Easton; and in Lebanon. The stores will each receive a $500 bonus.
The $100,000 winning ticket numbers were, in no particular order, 00025471, 00309235, 00365799 and 00437676.
Winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize and should sign their ticket as soon as possible, the lottery recommends.
Million-dollar prizes can be claimed at any lottery area office, while the $100,000 prizes can be claimed at any lottery area office or retailer. The raffle also had 100 prizes of $1,000 and 5,892 prizes of $100, and those prizes can be claimed at retailers.
