Winning Powerball ticket sold in PA is worth $150K, but the chance to claim expires soon
If you bought a Powerball ticket in Philadelphia last July, you could be a winner.
A ticket sold by Posh Fuel & Food July 30, 2022, is worth $150,000, according to a Tuesday Pennsylvania Lottery release, but the deadline to claim the large prize is drawing near.
The winning Powerball ticket’s numbers are 4, 17, 57, 58, 68 and red Powerball 12, and the player paid an additional $1 for the Power Play option, which multiplied winnings.
The overall odds of any win on Powerball are 1 in 24.87, according to the state lottery.
Pennsylvania law allows prizes to be claimed on any business day up to a year after the drawing. In this case, the winner has until Sunday, July 30 to claim the $150,000 prize, either through mail or in person.
The state lottery encourages the winner to sign the back of the ticket and set up an appointment at any of the organization’s seven offices, open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Pennsylvania Lottery reminds all players to check all of their tickets.
