A powerful storm moved through Centre County on Sunday. See photos of the aftermath

A brief but powerful storm Sunday afternoon led to downed trees, poles and wires across Centre County, with thousands losing power.

The impact was felt across the area, from a fallen tree closing part of Bishop Street in Bellefonte to downed utility wires causing the closure of part of Fox Hollow Road, near the State College Regional Airport.
